No One Will Miss Jeff Goldblum More Than Jeff Goldblum

Jeff made an appearance on Colbert Nation and it was quite amusing. Check it out below:

And just in case you can't get the video to load, here's what Jeff had to say:
"No one will miss Jeff Goldblum more than me," he said. "He was not only a friend and a mentor, but he was also, um, me. Jeff Goldblum's performances combined the muscularity of Brando, the pathos of Streep and the musky sensuality of a pride of baboons. One former conquest raved that sleeping with Jeff Goldblum was like—quote—being caught in a flesh storm with a 90 percent chance of satisfaction—unquote. That's verbatim"

Jeff Goldblum Subject of Hoax Last Night (JEFF GOLDBLUM IS NOT DEAD!)

In case you fell for any of the supposed hoaxes last night of Jeff Goldblum's death (I actually did not know anything about them until after the fact), Jeff Goldblum is NOT dead!

“Reports that Jeff Goldblum has passed away are completely untrue,” said the actor’s publicist in a statement Thursday night. “He is fine and in Los Angeles.”

Whoever decided to start this rumor is a sick disgusting person!

Apparently...

False rumours that Jeff Goldblum and Harrison Ford both died while filming in New Zealand are still making the rounds. An Australian entertainment TV reporter when to air with the "news" of Goldblum's death.

(It turns out the same cliff that had "claimed" Goldblum's life was also responsible for the earlier "deaths" of Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise. See Snopes.com for the full history of this internet-spread cut-and-paste obit.)

SOURCE

We of course know that Jeff is currently filming "Morning Glory" which is being shot in NYC - NOT New Zealand!

I just want to say that I hope Jeff has a very long wonderful life and I hope people stop perpetuating this pathetic rumor...

Long Live Jeff!

Michelle Pfeiffer Quotes Goldblum

Michelle Pfeiffer, who played alongside Jeff Goldblum in "Into The Night" is working on a new movie called "Cheri." In a recent interview, she quoted Jeff:

"I'm sort of coining this from Jeff Goldblum, but I remember him saying that his advice to actors starting out was if there isn't anything else in the world that you can do then become an actor," she said. "It's something that I just have to do, and I'm not sure that you can really explain why that is."
